I think that one of the things I love about this series so much is that the characters are often flawed and not perfect. It makes the stories much more believable. There is no unnecessary drama thrown into the mix just for the sake of it.
As the title suggests, this is Hadley and Leo’s story. Hadley is a club girl. And Leo……ahhhh Leo. Leo has been in all the previous books so if you’re like me you have been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for his story. He is the sergeant of arms of the club, and he is also has an adorable little girl who is his everything. Leo is no stranger to heartbreak and has had his fair share of hard times in his life.
Hadley left behind a past that was destined to be detrimental. She thought she had the perfect marriage and perfect life, but things aren’t always what they seem. But her husband might not be so willing to just let Hadley go.
Nothing but praises from me for this book, heck for this whole series! Addison Jane’s writing is just so powerful and realistic. She has a beautiful way of weaving words. Now I will be waiting for the next book she publishes!
