This is a military romance about two people who have both been hurt in the past. Haylee and Ryan strike up a friendship, and neither of them are looking for a romantic relationship. As they get to know each other though, they start to have feelings that they never thought they would feel. Ryan tries to get through to Haylee and show her they could be good together, but Haylee has just been too hurt from her past. She has walls put up that seem almost impossible to break down. But Ryan is a soldier, and and is persistent in what he wants!
