I gave this book 5 stars!
I picked up this book and couldn’t put it down. From the beginning to the end your in for a ride of a life time. So much happens in a period of 6 months that you will be shocked to what happens. With all the twist, turns and the love that blooms you will not see the end coming.
Kaylee lost her dad right in front of her. She blames herself for his death. Kaylee boyfriend Riley of 4 months has started to be abusive. Alexis, Kaylee’s best friend has a feeling that Riley is bad news. When a new guy comes along and starts to show interest in Kaylee will she see that Riley is no good or stay with him ?
With this book you will go from heart ache to hatred in 2.0 seconds. The characters has a realism and you can actually feel what they are going through. This story touches on a very real problem of domestic violence and rape.
Shelby has beautifully written a debut young adult romance. I look forward to reading more from this author
